    Description

    Heavy metal clinometer 2 3/4" in diameter, in its original leather case. Both items dated 1902. The clinometer is marked Short & mason Ltd / London / 1902 over broad arrow / #1379. The leather case is marked ??OBS & Co / 1902. The cover to the leather case is secured by a single tongue metal buckle. Good Boer War piece!
    Used to measure elevation, slope or depression. Good in hilly Boer country.
